*Mechanics & Mathematics Show
I'm happy to be making a very special announcement- Venus Hum will be doing a live show & taping for an upcoming release! The show will take place on January 22nd, 2010 at the Monastery Studio in Cincinnati. This is our chance to really show off our new CD 'Mechanics & Mathematics' as well as play all the old favorites in a fresh setting. It will be a multi-media heavy show, but very intimate at the same time. We hope to make it a very relaxed gig, so bring your own drinks, share and mix and mingle with other Venus Hum fans and with your hosts (us) as well. Seating will be limited so get your tickets early. Tickets will also be available at the door at a first-come-first-served basis. We can't wait for what promises to be a really special evening- I hope you can all make it out.

This may not be the right place to ask this, but I watch you're videos on you tube everyday, and I like them better every time I watch, to me Venus Hum is the best musical group ever, and Annette is by far the best singer, I love the way she sings and moves with the music, other singers just sing on top of the music, Venus Hum blends it all together to make the perfect music, any way I live in Texas and can't go to you're show, but I would like to know how I can get better quality versions of your videos on you tube, the ones with the sign ' Winter Rush 06' I will be glad to buy them if you have them on Dvd, I listen to you're music everyday, it is all I listen to, it makes all other music sound not so good, and I can't wait to hear you're new stuff. thanks from your biggest fan Brian C
Hi Brian! Thanks for those very kind words. The 'Winter Rush' show was a party that we were hired to play as the kick-off for a company called 'Burnlounge'. It's my understanding that the company is no longer in business. I think they did release some DVDs of the show, but I'm not sure if you'd be able to find one anymore. Can anyone out there help Brian out?
This gig in January will be released as a concert film, so you won't have to wait too long to see our new show. We might even make back to Texas someday soon (we've have many great shows in Austin, Dallas and Houston... lots of Venus Hum love for Texas!).
Any chance of playing Save the World? It's one of your best and I'd love to hear it live (even if it's only live on DVD, since I won't be able to make it to the show, unfortunately).
I just wanted to put in another vote for y'all coming to Texas. I'd love to see your show in Cincinnati, but there's no way I can make it. If you do come to any of the cities you mentioned, I'll be there. I love your music and listen to it almost every day and each time I notice something new. Simply put, it's incredible. The only downside is I no longer enjoy the music I use to listen to before discovering Venus Hum as much. Thank you.
Thank you for a great show in Cincinnati! It was wonderful to finally see and hear you in person. It was also great to meet and talk to each of you. Hope you play again in Cincinnati.
